Responsibilities
- Within limited delegated authority, the Nurse will be responsible for: Identifying, planning and maintaining the clinics’ medical materials, supplies and equipment requirements and raising requisitions accordingly.
- Arranging medical appointments and investigations for clients and updating monthly medical reports.
- Liaising with the Procurement Section and Supply Section to establish essential contracts for the practice.
- Assists in providing medical support during consultation and surgery including advising clients on the requirements for pre and post operative arrangement and/or escorts patients if needed.
- Concludes or closes medical report files to enable staff members to submit claims and submission of medical reports.
- Assists with arrangements of all medical investigations of patients, which includes tracing and reporting of findings, returning of all hard copies of investigation reports.
- Arrange all invoices, discharge requirements which include lodging and flight arrangement in the country in which client seeks follow up treatment.
- Assists with the development of logistical plans to support partner doctors and therapists.
- Assists with designing and implementing basic nursing programmes for education of junior staffs.
- Plans and organizes preventive medical fairs for the practice.
- Draws and implements duty roster for clinic personnel.
- Performs orientation/ briefing for incoming staff and conducts first aid training.
- Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Registered Professional Nurse who is a graduate of either an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Programme (University) or an accredited Diploma Programme (4 years). Certificates in, OT, CPR or Basic Life Support is an asset.
Work Experience
At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in general nursing, Operating Theatre and health administration. Supervision experience in nursing, operating theatre and administration is an asset. Knowledge and understanding of relevant private medical practice, administrative policies and procedures is desirable.
Languages
Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage and sometimes a requirement. Fluency in the local language may be essential.
